Surfboard Traction Pads

Traction pads are a integral part of a new board for most people. Not only do they look rad and allow you to give your board a little flair, they are one of the most functional pieces of equipment you can buy for a surfboard. When placed on the board correctly, a traction pad can give you maximum control and extra leverage when pushing through maneuvers. Some things to consider when buying a traction pad: Flat or Arch? One piece or multiple? Low or high kick tail? Most people seem to like arch bars, however there are quite a few who swear by flat pads. The size and shape of the kick tail differs throughout pads. One piece pads are easier to put on, however not as adjustable to different tails as multi-piece pads.
