There are seemingly endless options for things to do on a sunny spring weekend--especially here in Oregon. You could work on your garden, mow the lawn, go camping, climbing, fishing, boating, biking, shopping around town...even snowboarding some slushy conditions.
For me there is no better way to spend it than having one day to work in my yard, and the other to surf and hang out on the beach.
Lots of other people shared this idea, but it wasn't too crowded to enjoy. There were plenty of fun waves for everyone.
It had been a long time since the coast here actually felt like "the beach", in the more traditional and tropical sense of the word. Let's hope that this is the beginning of a great spring, summer, and fall. I'd love to do the same thing next weekend.
