It's not here yet, but it's definitely coming soon. I'm talking about summer weather and waves. The days are getting a lot longer (It's not dark until around 8:00 or so now!), the leaves are sprouting on the trees, and we've even had some days over 70 degrees.
With summertime comes a different kind of beach day that we get the rest of the year. We'll have warmer air, a lot more people around, hanging out by bon fires on the beach, and smaller, but still fun waves. It's almost longboard season. Although I've had fun riding my shorter equipment, I'm certainly looking forward to it. Let's all hope for some good sandbars and mellow north winds this year.
