Ben & Jeff's Burgers and Tacos will be hosting the first annual Burrito Retro Classic here at Cape Kiwanda. Along with Moment Surf Company, O'Neill Wetsuits and Surftech Surf/SUP a full weekend of "old school" meets "new wave" will keep the good times flowing. On Saturday June 28th we will be having a demo day where you can take out the new O'Neill PyroTech Wetsuit for a test run and/or any number of surfboards or SUP's from Surftech. All you need will be a drivers license and credit card for deposit. Later that evening Ben & Jeff's Burgers and Tacos will be hosting a movie night with free appetizers and showing "Hawaiian" The Legend of Eddie Aikau.
The Burrito Retro Classic will be held either day, June 28th or 29th, depending on best conditions. The format is simple, the person having the most fun wins! Age groups will be 16 years old and under, and 17 years old to dead. Any single fin, twin fin, or pre 1990 shortboard will be allowed. Points will be awarded for "retro" inspired surfboard, manuevers, costume and/or wetsuit. Winners will receive free burritos from Ben & Jeff's and a really cool trophy.
