PLEASANT PHEASANT: The Pleasant Pheasant is the more performance version of the Almond Joy, and has a narrower, more straight outline. A perfect transition board for those used to a more conventional shortboard style of surfing.

BEST FOR: All sorts, although it's range is higher into the bigger and meatier wave area due to the narrower outline.

FIN: Singlefin box and tiny plywood side-bites come standard on the Pleasant Pheasant.

GRIFFIN NEUMANN-KYLE joined almond in october, 2008 with one purpose in mind: to shape surfboards. There is a constant struggle between dave and griffin of 'form versus function', but that has lent itself well to the surfboards that they have created together. you'd be hard-pressed to find someone more dedicated to hand-shaping than griffin.
