Introducing The Moment Of Discovery Jacket

When it comes to searching for waves in cold water destinations, it’s essential to have a jacket that can hold up to a multitude of conditions. Freezing temperatures, high winds, rain storms and even snow can make any adventure difficult. The Moment of Discovery Poly-Tech Jacket can handle whatever weather you run into, and do it with a modern and clean style.

Made to protect you from the elements, the soft polyester exterior fabric with interior waterproof coating keeps the weather out. It’s bonded Micro Fleece interior lining gives comfort and warmth, while a scuba style hood offers good coverage and plenty of protection. The water resistant zippers with interior wind blocking flap, welt pockets, and drawcords with toggles at the hood and waist, insures that the weather stays out and you stay dry.

We kept the branding of the jacket clean and subtle, using just a simple patch located below the pocket. We created its own logo by combining our traditional boxed logo with our new Moment of Discovery tagline. If you are needing a multipurpose and technical jacket that is also stylish and modern, look no further than our Moment of Discovery Poly-Tech Jacket.

It has a life that we and the organizers before us can’t take credit for. I would like to think we had something to do with it, but the reality is the Cape Kiwanda Longboard Classic has become something far beyond anything anyone ever imagined.

It's that time of year again, and we're opening registration for our 2025 Youth Surf Camps! Youth surf camps are open to kids ages 10 - 16 with some flexibility, and all levels are welcome!

Both cheers of support and loud laughter were heard throughout Pacific City this past weekend as surfers and spectators gathered on the beach to root on the participants in the annual Cape Kiwanda Longboard Classic. This year marks the 25th running of the beloved community event.
Started in 1998 by Bob and Michelle Ledbetter, the contest has grown to become a staple of the NW surf community. It not only attracts surfers throughout Oregon, but this year saw people from Canada, California, Washington and even Hawaii make the pilgrimage.
