It is with heavy hearts that we announce the cancellation of the 2020 CKLC and Brewfest due to COVID-19 pandemic. We are following the orders of local and state officials to keep our participants, volunteers and spectators safe and healthy. As you can see from the beautiful tribute artwork by Todd Fischer, this year’s event carried additional meaning as it was set to honor our beloved friend and local legend, Gary “Gaz” Gregg. We also hoped to keep the incredible momentum from last year’s event that included the inaugural Coastal Craft and generated more proceeds for the PC Skatepark than ever before. With the funds generated from CKLC and Brewfest, the recent addition of a Tony Hawk Foundation Grant, and submitted grants from local sources, we are inching closer and closer to our goal of completing the PC Skatepark in the next few years.
We hope to be back in 2021 stronger than ever! In an effort to keep our momentum moving forward for the skatepark and to honor our dear friend, Gaz, we are offering for sale, special edition t-shirts, sweatshirts and posters. All proceeds from the sale will go directly to the development of the PC skatepark. Our plan is to offer these on a presale basis so we can determine the demand prior to placing an order with our screen printers. Our goal is to collect orders for the next 60 days and have product ready to deliver in August.
Thank you to all the volunteers, sponsors, spectators, and competitors over the years who have helped make this event so special. We look forward to continuing the Classic for years to come and can't wait to see all our friends again next year!
